First Meeting of AlmaU Finance Club: A Successful Start to the New Academic Year

On September 28, 2024, the first meeting of AlmaU Finance Club in the new academic year took place. The meeting's topic was 'Financial Freedom: How to Achieve and Maintain It' The speaker was Gulzhan Kasymzhanova, certified PCC ICF business coach and managing director of a project company. The event was held in conjunction with the implementation of the 'Debt-Free Society' project by the Higher and Postgraduate Education Committee of the 'AMANAT' party.

Students showed great interest in the topic of financial freedom and actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about proper personal finance management and capital creation. The interactive elements of the meeting were particularly valuable: Gulzhan Kasymzhanova shared her personal experiences and offered practical tasks, making the event not only informative but also useful for real-life application.

Participant feedback confirmed the high appreciation of the event's significance and practical value. Students noted that the topic of financial independence motivated them to take action, and the interactive format made the meeting lively and rich. The chairman of AlmaU Finance Club, Daniil Khazin, also emphasized the importance of this event, noting that the club started the new academic year on a positive note.

At the end of the event, the dean of the School of Economics and Finance, Shalkar Amanzholovich Boluspaev, gave a thank-you speech, expressing gratitude to all participants and the speaker, and presented a commemorative gift from the university.
